Yeh Degree bhi lelo, Yeh Naukri bhi lelo,
Bhale chheen lo mujhse US ka Visa,
Magar mujhko lauta do college ka canteen,

Hi Ken,
Thanks for writing in. I believe the queries raised by you are very obvious for any aspiring E-MBA candidate. Although, there is no clear YES or NO to them.
I will try to answer them to best of my knowledge and overall experience.
Personally this course has be quite rewarding and definitely an value add to my career. Performing as a team, Knowledge sharing, Networking are some of many key take aways from this course. It would be an individual's call to know if he/she found any value from this course. Quite frankly, the job market would certainly put weights to your resume if you want them do so :-) In my view, its all about how you sell yourself in the market - what value you bring in on the table for someone to hire you. This degree can be looked at as an Enabler.
Yes, the fees are quite high compared to what we paid 4 years back. But I believe, the Wellingkar's and the SP Jain's also charge you comparable if not higher fees for similar courses they have to offer. IIT, Mumbai is offering a Management course with specialization in HR and Marketing for around 1 lakh INR. But that is certification course and not a PGDBM. Check that out if you haven't done already. Below URL is for your reference

Finally, my advise to you would be to check the respective pedagogy of such courses offered by various B-schools and match your suitability to its entirety - work life balance etc. Time Management is very crucial for such courses.
I wish you All the Best for your decision making. Do write us back if you need any further help.
Regards,
Anand Modi
